Test rules and how to send your score

Bloomberg accepts PTE Academic including PTE Academic Online; scores must be less than two years old, and you share them from your myPTE account with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health as the recipient. AAP wants official results by mail or electronically, will not accept photocopies, and lists its recipient as Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, Advanced Academic Programs. Neither page mentions PTE Core.

On the same pages, both schools ask IELTS 7.0 (Bloomberg accepts IELTS Online and One Skill Retake), so PTE 68 is the PTE route to the same level.

If you fall short

Neither page offers a conditional admission or English pathway route. Bloomberg exempts applicants with a four-year degree from a listed English-speaking country or the US, or a WES or ECE evaluation confirming English-only instruction, but does not accept medium of instruction letters or three-year degrees for a waiver.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Johns Hopkins programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
