What PTE score do you need for KTH?

University Admissions accepts "Pearson PTE Academic or PTE Academic Online". Upload a copy of your Test Taker Score Report, then use your PTE account to assign the result to "University Admissions in Sweden" so it can be verified online; results that cannot be verified are not accepted. PTE Core is not mentioned, and no fixed PTE validity is stated beyond the need for online verification.

KTH's own pages give IELTS 6.5 (no section below 5.5) or TOEFL 4.5 as examples of English 6. On the University Admissions page, English 6 is IELTS 6.5 with no section below 5.5, so PTE 62 with writing 61 is the PTE route to the same level.

Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.

Depending on your country of previous studies, you may meet English 6 through upper secondary or university studies instead of a test. The bachelor's page says KTH offers no entrance exams, bridging or preparatory courses to meet the requirements.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your KTH programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
