Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at Kwansei Gakuin
The FAQ names the test as "Pearson PTE-A" and says applicants must meet or exceed the minimum on one listed test. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, score validity or how to send scores; the admissions page it links to covers the application package.

If you fall short
The FAQ does not offer conditional admission below these scores. Once enrolled, the course runs English Communication and Advanced English Communication classes, but they do not replace the entry score. The FAQ says applicants need a bachelor's degree and an English score regardless of where they graduated.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Kwansei Gakuin programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
