Lamar PTE minimums
The figures below are from Lamar's English language proficiency requirements page. The graduate admissions catalog uses the same categories but lists PTE 53 for Category I and 58 for Category II.

Test rules and how to send PTE to Lamar
The admissions page says to have the testing service send TOEFL and PTE scores using Lamar's school code 6360. It does not state a PTE validity period or mention PTE Academic Online.
For comparison, the same table asks IELTS 6.0 for undergraduates and Category I against PTE 59, and IELTS 6.5 for Category II against PTE 67.

If your PTE score falls short
The admissions page waives the test for applicants from listed countries, those who completed 48 credits taught in English or in a waiver country, those who finished level 112 of intensive English at a US institution, and those with English Composition I and II at a US institution with a B or better.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lamar programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
