What Duolingo score do you need for Langara College?

Assessment test scores are valid for two years from the date they were taken. Applicants admitted on a proficiency assessment other than the Langara English Test may have to pass ENGL 1107 or 1110, or reach LET 3, before taking ENGL 1100, 1123, 1129 or 1130.

For comparison, the same page sets IELTS Academic at 6.5 with no band lower than 6.0 for Category 2 and 6.5 for Category 3.

For Category 2 and 3 programmes, Langara lists alternatives such as English for Academic Purposes Level IV and its English courses ENGL 1107, 1110 or 1120. Category 3 also accepts four years of full-time study in an English-language education system.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Langara programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
