What Duolingo score do you need for Masaryk University?

Economics and Administration says Duolingo results must be no older than two years and shared through the Duolingo website. Applicants who completed their entire previous education in English in Australia, Canada, an EU country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the UK or the USA are exempt.

Informatics says certificates must not be older than two years and must be verifiable on the provider's website. Its autumn 2026 criteria accepted Duolingo 115 only together with official confirmation that your bachelor's was taught in English; the spring 2027 criteria list Duolingo 115 on its own.

Social Studies says tests must be within the last two years at submission and does not accept proof that your previous studies were in English.

For comparison, Economics and Administration asks IELTS Academic 6.5 with no band below 6.0, and Informatics asks IELTS 6.5 with no score below 5.5.

The faculty pages read for this guide do not describe a conditional offer or a pre-sessional English route for Duolingo applicants. Social Studies sets the lowest bar, 105, but its figure applies only to its own programmes.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Masaryk programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
