What PTE score do you need for Massey University?

The page says test results are valid for two years from the date you took the test. You can submit a scanned copy of your results, because Massey can verify most results online. Some qualifications need higher English levels, which appear in that qualification's entry requirements. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online.

Pearson's own PTE Core FAQ describes PTE Core as a general English test that is initially suitable only for work and migration routes to Canada, and says PTE Academic is the test accepted for university study.

For comparison, the same table sets Academic IELTS (including IELTS Online) at 6.0 with 5.5 in each band for undergraduate study and 6.5 with 6.0 in each band for postgraduate study.

Massey offers the Foundation Certificate (International) and the Foundation Certificate (International Accelerated) for students who lack the skills or qualifications for direct entry. Their PTE entry points, 46 and 50 overall, are in the table above.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Massey programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
