What IELTS score do you need for the Michener Institute of Education at UHN?

You do not need a test if you completed two years of full-time post-secondary education in an English-dominant country (with an official transcript or a WES or ICAS evaluation), finished all four years of high school in Canada, or are already an international student in Canada with two years of full-time post-secondary study. Registered or licensed Canadian health care providers are exempt too, but not for Bridging Programs.

Michener's FAQ does not mention Duolingo, CAEL or CELPIP, so plan on IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or MELA.

Full-time programs accept international applicants but spaces are limited; you apply through OCAS, except for the Master of Science in Cardiovascular Perfusion, which uses Michener Self-Service. Continuing Education and Bridging Programs need a part-time application, a CAD 95 fee, a credential assessment and an English assessment.

Requirements vary by program and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Michener program page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
