What Duolingo score do you need for Missouri S&T?

Graduate students who had to provide test scores and have studied at S&T for fewer than four semesters must meet the listed minimums to be considered for a GTA appointment. Those who provided Duolingo, PTE or Cambridge scores to meet the English requirement may opt to retake TOEFL or IELTS or be assessed by a SPEAK test.

On the same pages, IELTS 6.5 sits beside DET 115 for full admission, and IELTS 5.5 beside DET 105 for the Pathway Program.

Students who meet all academic requirements but not the English one may be admitted through the Pathway Program, taking academic classes plus one English class (English 1110 for undergraduates, English 5110 for graduates) in the first semester. Passing that class meets S&T's English requirement. Applicants with degrees from the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand or Canada (except Quebec) are exempt.
