What PTE score do you need for Missouri S&T?

On both pages you enter your PTE result on the Test Scores screen of the application. For the Pathway Program, the pages say unofficial scores are accepted. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core, or gives a validity period for PTE.

The graduate page adds a teaching assistant rule: graduate students who met the English requirement with Duolingo, PTE or Cambridge scores may retake TOEFL or IELTS or be assessed by a SPEAK test to be considered for a GTA appointment.

For comparison, the same pages ask IELTS 6.5 against PTE 58 for full admission, and IELTS 5.5 against PTE 50 for the Pathway Program.

The Pathway Program is the route for academically admissible students below 58. On the graduate page pathway students take English 5110 in their first semester, and on the freshman page English 1110; passing it meets the English requirement. Applicants from the countries on Missouri S&T's exempt list, which includes Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya, do not need a test score.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Missouri S&T programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
