Murray State PTE minimums by admission type
From the international admissions page and the graduate programme requirements page.
| Programme or band | PTE overall | Minimum per skill |
|---|---|---|
| Undergraduate and graduate, full admission | 51 | None stated |
| Full admission with condition (ESL program) | 45 | None stated |
Test rules and how to send your score
The admissions page asks you to upload scanned copies of your documents, test scores included. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code.
On the same page, IELTS is 6.0 for full admission and 5.5 with condition, so PTE 51 and 45 sit at those two IELTS levels. On the graduate programme page, some programmes such as Agriculture and Biology list only IELTS 6.0 and TOEFL 71.

If you fall short
Students admitted with condition come to Murray to take English classes in the ESL program. Conditional admission is open for all undergraduate programmes and some graduate programmes. Undergraduates admitted with condition must keep a 2.0 GPA in their first semester, and graduates a 3.0.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Murray State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
