NTU PTE minimum for undergraduates
From NTU's international qualifications admission guide. A test is mandatory if you hold or are taking the PRC Gao Kao, Taiwan GSAT, Korean CSAT or Ilbankye Kodung Hakkyo, HKDSE, the Vietnam High School Graduation Certificate, Thailand Mathayom 6, Indonesia Ijazah SMA, or any qualification where English was not studied at both junior and senior high school or was offered only as a second language.

Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at NTU
NTU says that for IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, C1 Advanced and AST, only scores obtained within two years before the application deadline are accepted, and that results must be submitted by the deadline of the admission exercise. Late submissions are not considered. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core and gives no Pearson institution code.
On the same page, IELTS Academic needs 6.5 overall with 6.5 in Writing and Speaking, TOEFL 90 or 4.5 with Writing and Speaking 25 or 4.5, and C1 Advanced 170 with 170 in Writing and Speaking.

If you fall short
The guide does not describe conditional admission or an English pathway with a PTE entry point. If your Writing is the weak skill, note that NTU's Writing minimum (59) is higher than the overall (55). SAT (total 1250 with Reading and Writing 600) and ACT with Writing in a single sitting (Composite 30, English 30, Writing 7) are also on the list.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NTU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
