You can start free with two diagnostic tests. Rules worth knowing

You can repeat individual practice questions during your access period, but each full-length mock test and sectional test can be taken only once; afterwards you can review its results and feedback. When a paid plan ends you can no longer practise or use the AI tutor (Pearson).

The free version covers one Speaking and Writing diagnostic, one Reading and Listening diagnostic and several Reading and Listening questions.

AI Practice vs the Scored Practice Test

Pearson positions AI Practice for everyday practice and the Scored Practice Test as a full two-hour test scored by the official PTE Academic engine with a full Score Report, best taken close to test day (Pearson). A single Scored Practice Test costs US$35.99 (Pearson).

Pearson also sells bundles: US$59.99 for one Scored Practice Test with 7 days of AI Practice; US$89.99 for two tests, 1 month of AI Practice and the Official Guide; and US$119.99 for three tests, 1 month of AI Practice, the Official Guide and the Expert Self-Study Course (Pearson).
