Where can I take PTE in Egypt?

Pearson lists no PTE centre in the Delta, the Canal cities or Upper Egypt, so candidates from Mansoura, Tanta or Minya travel to Giza, Cairo or Alexandria. Book early if you need a particular date, because four of the six listings are rooms at the same Giza test centre.

IELTS reaches a few more cities, including Mansoura, Tanta and Minya (IELTS test centres in Egypt), but costs EGP 10,200 against EGP 8,600 for PTE Academic. If both tests are accepted for your plans, weigh the trip against the saving.

Choose the exact test first (PTE Academic, Academic UKVI, Core or Home), then your city; only centres with slots for that test appear, and you can book at least 24 hours ahead (Pearson's booking guide). A result cannot be switched to another PTE test afterwards, so check PTE Academic vs PTE Core if you are unsure.

Refund and reschedule rules are in our PTE fee in Egypt guide. Take a free PTE mock test before booking.
