The table combines every venue on IDP Egypt's centre finder with every Egyptian location in the British Council's booking system, read on 10 October 2026, using the area names each provider uses. The British Council's dates and fees page describes 10 locations; its booking system listed nine.

Formats, UKVI and One Skill Retake
Since 1 July 2026 the British Council delivers every IELTS test in Egypt on computer, with Writing on Paper as an option. Its site names computer venues including British Council Agouza, Canadian International College in New Cairo and Sheikh Zayed, Saint Fatima School in Nasr City and the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization at Smart Village.
IELTS for UKVI is offered in Cairo and Alexandria (British Council UKVI page); IDP's Cairo session list also showed UKVI sessions at EGP 11,500. IDP marks all 12 of its Egyptian venues as offering One Skill Retake, so you can retake a single skill within 60 days without changing city.

The on-computer fee is EGP 10,200 everywhere, so choose by date and distance. IDP's Cairo page alone showed more than 600 sessions across Heliopolis, New Cairo, Sheikh Zayed and Tahrir. If you live in the Delta, Mansoura (both providers) and Tanta (IDP) save a trip to Cairo; in Upper Egypt, the British Council lists Minya.

Yes. IDP lists venues in Sheikh Zayed and at New Giza University, and the British Council lists 6th October and Agouza.
