Where can I take PTE in Myanmar?

Test takers in Mandalay and elsewhere must travel to Yangon for a PTE test centre, or choose IELTS, which the British Council runs on computer in both Yangon and Mandalay. PTE Academic Online can be taken from home, but Pearson says governments do not accept it for visas.

Pick the test before the centre: PTE Academic for study and most migration, PTE Academic UKVI only if a UK visa asks for a SELT, PTE Core for Canadian immigration. Our PTE Academic vs PTE Core guide explains the difference.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.
