Where can I take PTE in Thailand?

Bangkok's Pearson centre is the obvious choice for most people; Pathum Thani is just north of the city and Chon Buri is the option for the eastern seaboard. Pearson listed no centre in Phuket, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen or anywhere else in the south or northeast, so test takers there travel or choose IELTS, which runs in those cities. With one venue per city, popular dates fill quickly, so book early; rescheduling is free while more than 14 days remain.

Pick the test before the centre: PTE Academic for study and most migration, PTE Academic UKVI only if a UK visa asks for a SELT, PTE Core for Canadian immigration. Our PTE Academic vs PTE Core guide explains the difference.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.
