Test rules at RGU
Both pages say RGU currently only accepts Pearson PTE Academic when sat in a test centre, and does not yet accept the PTE Academic Online test where the applicant requires it for a visa. Standalone English test reports are valid for two years. The pages give no Pearson institution code.
If you need a visa, RGU says you must meet both the UKVI requirement and RGU's academic English requirement.

If your PTE score falls short
RGU lists a wide range of other accepted English qualifications on the same pages; some courses ask a different level, given on the course page.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your RGU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
