Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at Aberdeen
Both pages say the PTE Academic online test is not accepted, and that certification must be within the two years before your course starts. Neither gives a Pearson institution code.
The PTE levels are flatter than IELTS on the same pages: Postgraduate Standard is IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in the rest, and Postgraduate Higher adds 6.0 in reading, yet both list PTE 62 with 59 each. Undergraduate IELTS is 6.0 with 6.0 in writing.

If your PTE score falls short
Aberdeen runs Academic English pre-sessional programmes on campus and online; a pass meets the requirement and is valid for one year.
