What TOEFL score do you need for Rose-Hulman?

Section minimums apply at both levels, so a strong total with one weak section will not meet the requirement. The graduate page gives its figures on the 0 to 120 scale only and does not state a 1 to 6 equivalent. Neither page gives an institution code or a validity period.

For comparison, undergraduates need IELTS 6.5 with at least 6.0 in each area, and the graduate page asks for IELTS 7 in each band.

Undergraduates are exempt from TOEFL with 500 or higher on the SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing section or 21 or higher on the ACT English section. Duolingo (110) and PTE Academic (59) are also accepted for undergraduates. Neither page describes a conditional admission route.
