What PTE score do you need for RPI?

The undergraduate page requires official scores sent directly from the testing agency and does not accept self-reported scores. It asks that the name used to register for the test match your passport and application. The graduate page notes that scores older than two years are no longer available from the testing agency and that practice test scores do not count. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same pages, IELTS Academic 6.5 is the equivalent minimum at both levels.

Neither page describes a conditional or pathway route. Undergraduate exemptions cover set academic qualifications, three or more years of US secondary school (by request through the application status page) and high school diplomas from listed English-medium countries.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your RPI programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
