What IELTS score do you need for TU Eindhoven?

IELTS must be the Academic version; the IELTS online test and IELTS One Skill Retake are not accepted. TOEFL is the opposite: TU/e takes the TOEFL iBT at home or at a test centre, but not MyBest scores. Online PTE and online LanguageCert tests are not accepted.

You must upload your official score report in the application form, and TU/e verifies it using the IELTS TRF number, TOEFL appointment number, Cambridge verification number, PTE Score Report Code or LanguageCert candidate number. It must be able to verify the result before the final application deadline.

TU/e exempts nationals of Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. You are also exempt if you completed your whole bachelor's or the last three years of high school in one of those countries, completed Dutch VWO or a Flemish ASO diploma, or hold an IB or EB diploma taught solely in English (or with IB English A HL at 5, or EB English Language 1 or 2).

A full British curriculum (GCSE and A-levels) at a school outside the UK, an entire high school education at an accredited US high school abroad, or a four-year English-taught Dutch HBO bachelor's also count. TU/e says no other exemptions are possible. Students from India, Pakistan or Nigeria need a test.
