If your PTE score falls short

A B2 score (PTE 59 to 75) still gets you language-based conditional admission rather than a rejection. No certificate is needed if English is both the official language and the language of education in your home country; confirmation of the language of instruction is enough.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your TU Ilmenau programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
