UTAR PTE minimums by programme
From UTAR's entry qualifications and English language requirements page, tables 3 (international undergraduates) and 4 (postgraduates). No per-skill PTE minimum is set.

Test rules and the IELTS comparison
Both tables name the test as "Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic / PTE Academic (Online)", so the online version counts. The page does not mention PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. Programme-level postgraduate requirements are on UTAR's IPSR programmes pages.
On the same tables, PTE 47 sits beside IELTS 5.0, PTE 51 beside IELTS 5.5, PTE 59 beside IELTS 6.0 and PTE 63 beside IELTS 6.5.

If you fall short
Postgraduates who do not meet the English level can receive a conditional offer, take a preparatory course and must then reach the programme's score in a recognised test within one year of entering Malaysia. UTAR also partners with ELS to run the CIEP online in applicants' home countries, and passing CIEP meets UTAR's English requirement.
Undergraduates whose entry qualification was taught fully in English, or who come from countries with English as an official language, are not held to the test table (except for MBBS and nursing) but need a pass in English at SPM level or equivalent.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UTAR programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.
