What PTE score do you need for the University of Leeds?

Leeds lists "PTE (Pearson Test of English) Academic or PTE Academic UKVI" together at the same scores for degree entry. It says it cannot accept results that are over two years old at the start date of your course, and it does not accept PTE Academic Online.

For comparison, the same page sets the undergraduate minimum at IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each component and the masters minimum at IELTS 6.5 with no less than 6.0, the levels that match PTE 60 (59) and 64 (60). The page gives no Pearson institution code.

Leeds offers pre-sessional English courses. If you need a Student visa for one, you need a SELT unless you qualify for a combined CAS: the page accepts PTE Academic UKVI at 43 overall with no less than 43 in each component as the lowest entry level, with the plain PTE Academic accepted only for students who do not need a SELT, such as those studying the pre-sessional online.

For a Student visa, gov.uk asks for English at CEFR B2 for study at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself and may ask for a different test (gov.uk).

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Leeds programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
