What PTE score do you need for the University of Lincoln?

Lincoln lists PTE Academic among tests valid for two years from the test date. It states that PTE Academic Online, LanguageCert IESOL and the Duolingo English Test are not accepted from applicants who require a Student visa. The page says verification of your English qualification is completed before CAS issue, and acceptance of tests may change in line with Home Office policy.

The page does not list PTE Academic UKVI separately or give a Pearson institution code.

The same table lists the Lincoln PEASS course as an accepted route, with a pass at 40% or above for IELTS 6.0 programmes and 50% or above for IELTS 6.5 programmes.

For a Student visa, gov.uk asks for English at CEFR B2 for study at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself and may ask for a different test (gov.uk).

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lincoln programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
