Derby PTE scores by IELTS level
From the University of Derby English language tests page. The page says most bachelor's-level and higher programmes ask IELTS between 6.0 and 7.0 with a minimum in all areas.

PTE Academic, PTE Online and PTE UKVI at Derby
Derby's table has a SELT column. Pearson PTE Academic UKVI is marked as a SELT. Pearson PTE Academic (including Online) has the same scores but is marked as not a SELT. Both are accepted for entry at the levels above.
The page does not give a Pearson institution code or a separate validity period for PTE.

If your PTE score falls short
Derby recommends its Pre-sessional English course if your English is below the required IELTS, and lists Oxford International's pre-sessional English course among accepted evidence.
For a Student visa, gov.uk asks for English at CEFR B2 for study at degree level or above and B1 below degree level, and says a university can assess degree-level applicants' English itself and may ask for a different test (gov.uk).
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Derby programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
