What PTE score do you need for the University of Memphis?

Both pages say test scores expire after two years and tests must be taken within two years before applying, with expired scores accepted only for students continuously enrolled at a college in an approved English-speaking country. Submit an unofficial report with your application and have the official report sent directly to the university; the graduate page says to submit PTE scores electronically through Pearson. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online.

For comparison, the graduate table asks IELTS 6.5 against PTE 59, and the undergraduate table asks IELTS 6 against PTE 50.

The undergraduate page says you can apply to the Intensive English for Internationals (IEI) programme to gain English proficiency certification and secure full admission, and the graduate page accepts completion of an intensive English course through IEI. No PTE entry score for IEI is given.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Memphis programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
