What PTE score do you need for Ole Miss?

To count as official, scores must be sent directly from the testing agency to the university and be less than two years old. The page gives 1840 as the University of Mississippi's school code. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same page, IELTS 6.0 matches PTE 53 for direct admission, IELTS 5.5 matches the Transition Pathway and IELTS 5.0 the Bridge Pathway.

Transition Pathway students take 3 hours of IE 090 and 1 hour of IE 091 in their first semester alongside degree courses, and must pass both with a C or better. Bridge Pathway students take three Intensive English courses (9 credit hours) in the first semester and need a B to exit, moving to the Transition Pathway in the second semester.

For undergraduates below PTE 47, the page says conditional admission may be granted on written request to International Student and Scholar Services; academic courses then open only after unconditional-level English is shown. The Intensive English Program needs a separate application.
