Test rules: retakes yes, home tests no
IELTS, TOEFL and PTE results must be less than two years old, and IELTS One Skill Retake is accepted. IELTS Academic Online, TOEFL iBT Home Edition and PTE Academic Online are not accepted, and postgraduate pages add that tests must be taken at a test centre in your country of residence. MUET results are valid for five years.
International applicants who meet the university's requirements may also need to submit extra documents or an approved English test for Malaysia's Ministry of Higher Education.

Indian school-leavers: the CBSE and CISCE route
Undergraduate pages accept CBSE or CISCE Class XII English instead of a test, with a letter confirming English was the medium of instruction: 70% overall for Computer Science and 80% for Pharmacy. A Level, IGCSE, IB and SPM English grades are also listed.
The pages we read do not offer a degree-based waiver for postgraduates, so master's applicants should plan on IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or MUET.
