What Duolingo score do you need for the University of Oregon?

The University of Oregon gives full undergraduate admission with a Duolingo English Test score of 110 to 130. A score of 100 to 109 means admission with Academic English for International Students (AEIS) support, and below 100 means conditional admission through intensive English. Validity, teaching roles and the IELTS comparison

Undergraduate scores must be dated within two years of enrolment. Graduate scores must be less than two years old when you apply. Self-reported scores can be used for the first review, but official scores are needed before final admission. If you plan to take a teaching graduate employee position, there are extra English requirements beyond those for admission. UO does not accept English-medium-of-instruction certificates, and only programmes, not applicants, can request a graduate waiver.

For comparison, the same pages set IELTS at 6.5 or above for full undergraduate admission and 7.0 overall for graduate admission.

If your Duolingo score falls short

Undergraduates scoring 100 to 109 are still fully admitted but take Academic English for International Students courses. Below 100, students are conditionally admitted and enrol in UO Global Welcome, the university's full-time intensive English programme. The graduate page lists no conditional route.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Oregon programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
