Test rules and how to send your score
Scores must have been earned within two years of the desired term of entry. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson sending method. The Pearson VUE codes it lists are for the GMAT, not PTE.
For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.5 or higher. It also accepts other evidence, such as a GRE verbal score of 153 or higher.

If you fall short
The page states that applications with English proficiency scores that do not meet the minimum will be denied. Retake before you apply rather than after.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your USF programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
