Test rules and how to send your score
Undergraduates are asked for an official test score report. The pages list PTE Academic and PTE Express side by side at the same scores, but do not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. Send your score through your Pearson account and confirm receipt with admissions.
On the same pages, IELTS is 6 for both undergraduate and graduate admission. Duolingo is 95 for undergraduates and 100 for graduate study.

If you fall short
The undergraduate requirement is waived if you are transferring from a US institution, and the graduate requirement is waived for students who have completed bachelor's or master's level coursework at an accredited US institution. Neither page describes a conditional admission or ESL pathway with a PTE entry point.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Cumberlands programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
