University English requirements

What PTE score do you need for UW-Parkside?

UW-Parkside asks for a PTE score of 50 from every international applicant who needs to prove English: first-year students, transfers, graduate students and exchange students. The page sets no per-skill PTE minimum. The same lists ask for IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 71, so PTE 50 is the PTE route to that level.

Test rules and how to send your score

The page lists the requirement as a "PTE Pearson score of 50" and links to Pearson for test centres. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core, does not say how old a score may be, and gives an institution code only for TOEFL (1860). Send your PTE score through your Pearson account and confirm with admissions@uwp.edu that it has arrived.

On the same page, the other routes are IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 71, an ACT English subscore of 23 and the Duolingo English Test at 100.

If you fall short

Proof of English is only required from non-native speakers whose prior education was not conducted in English. The page does not describe a conditional admission or pathway programme with a PTE entry point, so a lower PTE score means retaking the test or using another route on the list.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UW-Parkside programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
