What PTE score do you need for Wayne State University?

The Graduate School page says to report scores using institution code 1898, that scores must be no more than two years old, cannot be institutional or supplied by another university, and must be officially reported by the testing agency. It calls these the absolute minimum, with programmes free to set higher scores. PTE Academic Online and PTE Core are not mentioned.

For comparison, the same page lists IELTS 6.5 overall, which it says it will consider under most circumstances, against PTE 58.

Students who meet a programme's academic requirements but not the English one may be eligible for provisional admission through Wayne State's English Language Institute, studying there full time until they meet the requirement, per the Graduate School page. The page says doctoral applicants are not eligible for this route.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Wayne State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
