What PTE score do you need for Western Michigan University?

WMU's English proficiency page lists "Pearson Test of English, Academic Module (PTE) and Pearson English Express Test" on one row with the same scores, and says tests must be taken within two years of application submission. It does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core, and gives a TOEFL institutional code (1902) but no Pearson code.

For comparison, the same page asks IELTS Academic 6.0 for most undergraduate programmes (7.0 for aviation flight science) and 6.5 for graduate study.

The Pathway Program lets you take English as a second language courses alongside academic courses that count towards your degree. It runs over two semesters, Pathway 1 and Pathway 2, and a higher score lets you start at Pathway 2. It is offered for fall and spring intakes only.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your WMU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
