Our verdict
IELTS Online Tests is a great free source of reading and listening practice, with new mock tests every month. Writing and speaking are where it gets expensive: US$4.99 per AI writing marking, US$9.99 per AI speaking marking and US$19.99 for a human examiner, with no refunds and no subscription. If you write or speak most days, those costs add up fast, and there is no app.
We make BandLadder, a competing IELTS and PTE platform, so read this with that in mind. We read ieltsonlinetests.com, its pricing and terms pages, and its premium-services, marking and refund pages (it has no app) on the date above. We did not buy a plan, so we do not rate its scoring accuracy. IELTS Online Tests is a trademark of its owner, and BandLadder is not affiliated with it. Prices and features change: check ieltsonlinetests.com before you buy.
