Our verdict
Magoosh IELTS is a polished, lesson-led course with unlimited AI grading of writing and speaking. Its pricing favours the 6-month plan: US$129, against US$109 for a single month. It is light on practice volume (850 questions, up to 10 full mocks), and the score guarantee only pays out if you watch every video, finish every question and meet several other conditions. Good if you want a structured video course; less so if you mainly want lots of scored mocks.
We make BandLadder, a competing IELTS and PTE platform, so read this with that in mind. We read ielts.magoosh.com, its pricing and terms pages, and its plans, features and score-guarantee pages and its App Store listing on the date above. We did not buy a plan, so we do not rate its scoring accuracy. Magoosh IELTS is a trademark of its owner, and BandLadder is not affiliated with it. Prices and features change: check ielts.magoosh.com before you buy.

- −Prices are in US dollars only.
- −App Store reviewers say almost everything is locked to Premium.

- →You learn best from video lessons and want a structured course.
- →You can study for several months and will take the 6-month plan.
- →You want unlimited AI feedback on writing and speaking.
Look elsewhere if…
- →You mainly want many full mocks and a large question bank.
- →You need only a week or two of practice before your test.
