1

Do you have any plants in your home?

Yes, I've got a couple on my windowsill in the living room. To be honest, I'm not an expert gardener, but having a small succulent and an aloe vera definitely brightens up the flat and makes the space feel more welcoming.

2

What kind of plants do you prefer to keep?

I definitely lean towards low-maintenance varieties. Things like snake plants or cacti suit me best because they don't need watering every day. If a plant requires constant fussing and special compost, it probably won't survive long in my care.

3

Did you grow plants when you were a child?

Not inside the house, really, but my grandparents had a lovely garden where I used to help out. I remember planting sunflower seeds in small pots during the summer holidays and waiting eagerly to see them sprout.

4

Is it easy to look after plants?

I think it really depends on the species. Some are practically indestructible and can thrive even if you neglect them for a fortnight. However, more delicate flowering varieties can be quite temperamental about sunlight and overwatering.

5

Would you like to have more plants in the future?

I'd love to, especially if I move into a place with a bit more natural light. I quite fancy setting up a little indoor herb garden in the kitchen so I can use fresh basil and coriander when I cook.
