1

Do you often listen to podcasts?

Yes, pretty much every day, actually. I find them brilliant for passing the time when I'm on the go. Usually, I'll pop my headphones in while doing the washing-up or walking into town, just to keep my mind occupied.

2

What kinds of podcasts do you enjoy the most?

I'm quite keen on history and investigative journalism shows. I love episodes that dig into lesser-known historical events or solve complex mysteries. They're engaging, and I always feel like I've learned something worthwhile by the end.

3

When and where do you usually listen to them?

Most of the time, it's during my morning commute on the train. It helps drown out the background chatter and makes the journey fly by. Occasionally, I'll also put a comedy episode on in the evening to unwind before bed.

4

Is listening to podcasts popular among your friends?

Definitely. Quite a few of my mates are really into them. We often swap recommendations when we meet up for coffee, especially if someone's stumbled across a gripping new series about sports or current affairs.

5

Do you think you would ever start your own podcast?

I doubt it, to be honest. It sounds like a lot of hard work, editing audio and constantly coming up with fresh topics. I think I'm much better suited to being a casual listener rather than a host.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
