Sample answers

1

Do you like eating popcorn?

Yes, I really enjoy it, especially when watching a film. It is light and crunchy, so it's quite addictive once you start. I usually grab a tub whenever I go to the cinema with my friends on a Friday evening.

2

How often do you eat popcorn?

Not terribly often, to be honest. I probably only have it once or twice a month, mainly because I associate it exclusively with movie nights. If I'm just sitting at home during the week, I tend to reach for fruit or biscuits instead.

3

Do you prefer sweet or savoury popcorn?

I'm definitely in the savoury camp. I find caramel or sweet glazes a bit sickly after a few handfuls, whereas salted popcorn or even cinema kiosk varieties with a bit of paprika or melted butter are much more satisfying to snack on.

4

Did you eat popcorn when you were a child?

I did, but it was seen as a special treat rather than an everyday snack. My parents used to buy microwave bags of buttery popcorn for us when we rented videotapes over the weekend, which felt like a massive event back then.

5

Do you ever make popcorn at home?

Occasionally, yes. I have a large saucepan that I use to pop raw corn kernels with a splash of sunflower oil. It's surprisingly easy to make, and I like being able to control the amount of salt I sprinkle over the top.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
