1

How often do you open your fridge at home?

Probably way too often, to be honest. I work from home quite a bit, so whenever I take a short break, I find myself wandering into the kitchen and peering inside, even if I'm not actually hungry. I'd say I easily check it ten or twelve times a day.

2

What kind of food do you usually keep in your fridge?

Mostly everyday essentials like milk, eggs, and fresh vegetables for cooking dinner. I also tend to keep batch-cooked meals in plastic containers on the middle shelf, which saves me loads of time during busy weekdays when I don't feel like making anything from scratch.

3

Do you often clean out your fridge?

Not as often as I should, really. I usually give it a thorough wipe-down once every couple of weeks, especially before doing a big weekly food shop. It's quite satisfying to chuck out anything that's gone off and make space for fresh groceries.

4

Did your family have a big fridge when you were growing up?

No, not particularly. We lived in a fairly small flat, so we just had a standard under-counter model with a tiny freezer compartment at the top. It was always crammed full because my mum loved stocking up on dairy products and leftovers.

5

Would you like to have a smart fridge in the future?

It sounds convenient, but I'm not entirely convinced I need one. Having a touchscreen that alerts you when milk is running low is a neat gimmick, but they're incredibly pricey, and I'd rather just stick to a traditional, reliable appliance that does the basics well.

Details are invented. Use the shape, not the sentences: examiners mark memorised answers down.
