1

Do you often eat takeaway food?

Not really, maybe once a fortnight at most. I generally prefer cooking my own meals from scratch during the week because it’s much healthier and cheaper. But if it's a Friday night and I’ve had a particularly exhausting week at work, I’ll occasionally treat myself.

2

What is your favourite type of takeaway?

I'd definitely say Thai food. I'm a massive fan of spicy noodles and green curries. There's a little family-run place just down the road from my flat, and their dishes are always piping hot and bursting with flavour, so that's usually my go-to.

3

Did you eat much takeaway food as a child?

Hardly ever, to be honest. Growing up, my parents were quite strict about healthy eating, so having a takeaway was a rare luxury. We only ever had fish and chips or a pizza on very special occasions, like someone's birthday or the end of term.

4

Do you prefer ordering takeaway or cooking at home?

It really depends on my mood, but most of the time I lean towards cooking. I find preparing a meal quite therapeutic after a busy day. That said, ordering in is obviously unbeatable when you’re short on time and can’t face doing the washing-up.

5

Do you think you will order more takeaways in the future?

I doubt it, actually. Delivery fees and food prices have gone up quite a bit recently, so I’m trying to cut back to save some money. If anything, I reckon I’ll try to brush up on my cooking skills instead.
