Test rules and comparison with IELTS
The requirement page lists Pearson among the official results CSULB accepts but gives no Pearson code, validity period or position on PTE Academic Online. The graduate page asks you to send official scores and upload an unofficial copy with your supporting documents.
For comparison, the same page asks IELTS 6.0 for bachelor's against PTE 43, and IELTS 6.5 for post-baccalaureate against PTE 58.

If your PTE score falls short
The requirement page accepts completion of Level 4 (undergraduate) or Level 6 (post-baccalaureate) at the American Language Institute at CSU Long Beach. It waives the requirement for holders of a US regionally accredited bachelor's or master's and for those educated in listed countries.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your CSULB programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
