What IELTS score do you need for Clarkson University?

Clarkson says it does not automatically waive the requirement based on language of instruction and does not accept university certificates. IELTS General Training is not accepted. The Reh School of Business exempts citizens of Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Trinidad and Tobago and the UK. Countries where English is one of several official languages are considered case by case and may still need a test. At least two semesters of study in the US (or a country where English is the only official language) may earn a waiver, but it is not guaranteed. See graduate business admissions.

First-year and transfer applicants submit official English scores unless their country is on Clarkson's waiver list: TOEFL 4.5, IELTS 6.5, Duolingo 115 or PTE 56. IELTS takers upload the Test Report Form, and PTE or Duolingo takers send official scores. SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 550, or IB or A-level results, also waive the test. The list includes the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, the Philippines, Singapore and many African and Caribbean countries, but not India or Pakistan. See international admissions and exemptions.
