What IELTS score do you need for Drexel University?

Engineering lists TOEFL (Home Edition included), IELTS, PTE and Duolingo. Applicants below the department language requirement who meet everything else may be accepted with a recommendation to complete the Graduate Preparation Program at Drexel's English Language Center, a provisional route. Engineering may waive the test if you were taught in English in primary and secondary school, shown by transcripts stating English instruction or a proficiency statement from your university; India is not named either way.

Computing and Informatics accepts study at a college or university where English is the principal language of instruction as proof, or TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo. LeBow accepts Duolingo, IELTS (Indicator included), PTE Academic, PTE Express and TOEFL, and may waive the test for a bachelor's from a recognised English-speaking country; it publishes no list. First-year applicants who are not native speakers and have not had three full years of instruction in English submit TOEFL iBT, TOEFL Essentials, IELTS, PTE or Duolingo; SAT Reading and Writing 600 or ACT English 27 also exempts you. Drexel's undergraduate testing page states no direct-admission minimum. The International Gateway program is a conditional admission route for lower scores, such as IELTS 5.0–6.0 for Fall entry.
