Refund, transfer and payment rules are in our IELTS fee in Egypt and PTE fee in Egypt guides.

IELTS: book online with the British Council or IDP, choose Alexandria and pick a session; the venue address comes in your confirmation. Register with the identity document you will bring on test day, and bring that same document.

PTE: create a myPTE account with details that exactly match your ID, choose the test, then your city, a centre and a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport, and a passport is the only ID accepted if you test outside your country of citizenship; check its exceptions list before relying on a national ID card.

Results: both IELTS booking systems show results in 1 to 5 days for IELTS on computer, and Pearson sends PTE scores typically within 48 hours (PTE scoring). Before you pay, take a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test to check you are ready.
