Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Dublin?

Pearson's test centre finder lists two centres in Ireland: The Exam Centre – City Centre 2 in Dublin and Cork Education & Training Board in Cork. The Dublin centre is a partner venue and is on GOV.UK's outside-UK list for PTE Academic UKVI.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose the test first and then the city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

IELTS fees are the ones each centre shows on its ielts.org page on 10 October 2026 (prices can change and may be subject to local tax); IDP's Dublin listing showed the same EUR 220. Outside Dublin, ielts.org lists British Council venues in Cork (Cork English College) and Galway (Centre of English Studies and MTS at Bridge Mills), and Exam Centre of Ireland in Limerick; Pearson's other centre is in Cork. IELTS: open a Dublin centre on the ielts.org finder and use its Book a Test link; IDP's Exam Centre of Ireland dates are also on IDP Ireland. Bring the same identification document you used when you booked (test day).

PTE: choose the test, then Dublin, and pick a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport; if you test outside your country of citizenship, a passport is the only accepted ID for PTE Academic. For a UK SELT taken outside the UK, GOV.UK also accepts a valid photographic government ID card in the country that issued it, and EEA national identity cards (GOV.UK).

Results: ielts.org says IELTS on computer results usually come in 1–2 days and Life Skills within 9 days (results); Pearson says PTE results typically arrive within 2 days. Before you pay, try a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test.
