The table lists every Irish centre on the ielts.org finder, read on 10 October 2026, with the fee each centre's page showed. The British Council's own Ireland page mentions 10 test locations and lists IELTS from EUR 205 to EUR 225, so check the price when you book. Addresses are left out on purpose.

IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills in Ireland
Only the Centre of English Studies in Dublin listed IELTS for UKVI and Life Skills on ielts.org (centre page). The British Council adds that some of its UKVI centres deliver the Life Skills test by video call with an examiner, taken at an official UKVI centre, which can open more dates (British Council Ireland). IDP does not offer UKVI tests in Ireland.

Dublin has the most choice. IDP's Dublin session list showed 22 upcoming sessions with results in 1 to 5 days and One Skill Retake available, and IDP's Ireland finder offers One Skill Retake at Exam Centre of Ireland. Outside Dublin, compare Cork (EUR 230) and the two Galway centres (EUR 220 or EUR 250) before you book.
Nurses should not plan around One Skill Retake, because NMBI does not accept it (IELTS for nurses in Ireland). Several centres are on or near campuses that set their own IELTS entry rules, such as DCU, University of Galway and University of Limerick.
