Where can I take IELTS or PTE in Frankfurt?

Pearson's test centre finder lists one Frankfurt centre, Pearson Professional Centers – Frankfurt, run by Pearson. It is on GOV.UK's outside-UK list for PTE Academic UKVI.

Pearson's finder does not say which tests each centre runs on which day. When you book, choose the test first and then the city; only centres with slots for that test appear.

IELTS fees are the ones each centre shows on its ielts.org page on 10 October 2026 (prices can change and may be subject to local tax). PTE prices are from Pearson's price finder with Germany selected; Pearson charges EUR 280 in Germany against EUR 220 in Ireland. Refund and transfer rules are in our IELTS fee in Germany and PTE fee in Germany guides.

GOV.UK's list also shows PSI (Skills for English) at Eloquia and at EDC-Business Computing in Frankfurt, and PSI in Darmstadt. Heidelberg and Marburg have British Council IELTS venues. See our Munich and Berlin guides.

IELTS: open a Frankfurt centre on the ielts.org finder and use its Book a Test link. Bring the same identification document you used when you booked; ielts.org says you cannot take the test with the wrong ID (test day).

PTE: choose the test, then the city, and pick a slot (Pearson's booking guide). Pearson's ID policy asks for a valid passport; if you test outside your country of citizenship, a passport is the only accepted ID for PTE Academic. For a UK SELT taken in Germany, GOV.UK also accepts a valid photographic government ID card issued in Germany, and EEA national identity cards (GOV.UK).

Results: ielts.org says IELTS on computer results usually come in 1–2 days and Life Skills within 9 days (results); Pearson says PTE results typically arrive within 2 days. Before you pay, try a free IELTS mock test or a free PTE mock test.
